People are using GUNS in a horrible way, and I want to tell you how YOU can help us ALL to keep SAFE AT HOME.

To help us ALL to be safe at home, first, you must learn about GUNS.
What are they for? (HUNTING and PROTECTION).
When are they BAD, and when are they GOOD?
What are the rules for people who have guns?
MOST IMPORTANTLY, we need to talk about what to do IF YOU DON'T FEEL SAFE!
Are there guns in your house? Are they kept in a locked place always?
Are they kept away from children?
Is someone hiding a gun in your house?
Do you feel safe?
Does someone scare you?
Does someone have a gun that shouldn't?
TELL SOMEONE
Did anyone ever point a gun at you? Or at anyone else?
GO TO A SAFE PLACE, THEN TELL SOMEONE
If people fight, do they bring out guns?
GET AWAY OR HIDE AND CALL 911
When people are angry, do they say bad things about hurting or shooting other people?
DON'T WAIT UNTIL IT'S TOO LATE. TELL SOMEONE
You might be thinking, 'but he is my friend."
"He really is a nice guy, but sometimes he scares me."
Or maybe you are thinking, "I am afraid to TELL anybody."
REMEMBER, YOU could save a life!
Maybe YOUR life or maybe HIS life!
Don't think, "He is just kidding."
TELL SOMEONE. GO TO A SAFE PLACE, THEN TELL SOMEONE.

This book will show you how to fill your neighborhood with "SAFE HOUSES."
It will tell you what to do WHEN you don't feel safe.
If each one teaches one, maybe we can SAY NO TO VIOLENCE and STOP the bad things BEFORE they happen!
The book includes instructions for Adult Advocates, printable "SAFE AT HOME" signs for display in home and business windows, and instructions on how to print a Certificate of Completion for the students who complete the Course.
