Brief Description

Songbook with 12 Songs by Scott Joplin, written down for the Chromatic Harmonica (pitch range up to 3 octaves).
Scott Joplin (1868 - 1917) was an US American composer and pianist. Because of his famouse Ragtime Hits he was dubbed the "King of Ragtime". During his career, he wrote over 40 original ragtime pieces, one ragtime ballet, and two operas. One of his first and most popular pieces, the "Maple Leaf Rag", became the genre's first and most influential hit, later being recognized as the quintessential rag (from wikipedia).

The tones of the melodies were prepared with simple symbols, the rhythm of the tones is given by the classical music notation. The sounds of the songs (melody with backing band and backing band alone - "Playalong") are available online in a sound player with adjustable playback speed.
Videos explain how to read music, long songs are also available as PDF downloads - no more scrolling necessary. Web address and access data in the book.
Suitable for advanced players.
