The person bears a hard, thin calcareous shell 25-forty millimeters (1-1+five⁄eight in) in diameter and 25-35 millimeters (1-1+3⁄8 in) excessive, with 4 or five whorls. The shell is variable in coloring and coloration of coloration, however usually it has a reticulated sample of darkish brown, brownish-golden, or chestnut with yellow stripes, flecks, or streaks (usually interrupted brown color bands).
