In spite of its diminutive stature, the Pug packs a big, lovable personality. Among the Toy group of the American Kennel Club, these hardy, small dogs are often referred to as the "clowns of the canine world" due to their witty personalities and penchant for strutting their stuff.
There are some instances of purebred dogs ending up in the care of animal shelters and rescue organizations. Don't forget to adopt! Bringing a dog into your home is not something you should do while shopping.
