It is written of the risen Lord that "having begun from Moses and from all the prophets, he interpreted to them in all the scriptures the things concerning himself" (Luke 24:27). Many of those "things concerning himself" are found in the book of Genesis--a part of the Holy Scriptures peculiarly rich in typical teaching--and nothing more is needed to make it attractive to those who love Him.
